Technical SEO

What is Technical SEO ?

Technical SEO refers to the procedures used to design and optimize a website so that search engines can quickly crawl, index, and display it. The puzzle of SEO is made up of several pieces, including technical SEO. The majority of marketers and business owners use technical SEO to increase the likelihood that their website will rank highly in search engine results pages (SERPs). The process of optimizing your website for search engines like Google to find, crawl, understand, and index your content is known as technical SEO. The objective is to increase rankings and be found.

CRAWLING

Crawl Rates

Search engines employ crawling to gather information from pages and leverage the links on those pages to find even more pages. You may manage how your website is crawled in a few different ways. Here are some possibilities. Many crawlers include the crawl-delay command in robots.txt, which you can use to control how frequently pages are crawled. Sadly, Google doesn’t take this into account. You must modify the crawl rate for Google in Google Search Console.

Step 02

Information Architecture

Wireframes for each page are part of the site architecture, along with the sitemap. By establishing the site’s main navigational structure and considering all of the important pages, you can be confident that you’ve taken into account all of the important pages on the website. With the use of wireframes, you can see exactly what will be on each page in great detail. The wireframes serve as a reference for determining the hierarchy of the material on the page even if they do not depict any actual design elements.

Step 03

Content

Once designs have been accepted, it is time to complete the page designs, generate new material, edit existing content, produce movies, slideshows, podcasts, and other media for the website, and begin coding the HTML and CSS.

Choosing the format for your material is the first step in content planning. Visual representation of some ideas will make them stronger and may call for an infographic or movie. Some content could work better in plaintext than others. A blog post, an essay, or an eBook can be the best format for those. Finding out what kinds of material have already been produced on your topic will help you learn a lot.

Step 04

Launch, Measure, Improve

The site will be put on a production server just before it goes live, accessible exclusively to internal audiences and anybody you share the link with. Testing is essential since there will unavoidably be problems that must be fixed before the site goes live. Nothing damages a brand more than a website that is not functional, contains typos, or has broken design components. At this point, it will be necessary to examine the website on several platforms laptops, tablets, and mobile devices as well as several browsers (Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer). We’ve tested the website, reviewd and approve it, and are now prepared to launch.
